ANNUAL MEETING
SUNDAY, MAY 19, 2024

Dear River of Grass Members,
In accordance with our Bylaws, this notification provides members of River of Grass Unitarian Universalist Congregation with the subjects and motions that will be voted on at the Annual Meeting of the River of Grass UU Congregation which will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2024, both in-person and virtually via Zoom from 12:15-2:30 pm.
Members are eligible to vote as follows:
- All new members who joined this year and signed the membership book by March 19, 2024 (60 days prior to the Annual Meeting);
- All members who joined before this year and are a member in “good standing” (as defined in our policies Section 9E) as of May 5, 2024 (14 days prior to the Annual Meeting).
40% of eligible voting membership is required to be in attendance at the meeting to constitute a quorum. Absentee ballots can be submitted for the election of the Board of Trustees and Nominating Committee only. Contact secretary@riverofgrassuu.org soon if you cannot be at the meeting and wish to vote on these positions.
Following are the subjects for which a congregational vote will be called on May 19, 2024:
1. Approval of Minutes from last year's Annual Meeting held May 19, 2023;
2. Elections for Board of Trustees and Nominating Committee;
3. Approval of proposed 2024-20245 Annual Budget.
Additional items which will not require a congregational vote:
1. Future Home Update
2. Capital Campaign Fund
A preliminary agenda and all available supporting documents are linked below. Members may submit nominations for the Board and Nominating Committee as well as additional items for the business of the congregation. See our Bylaws on line for instructions on submissions. A Final Agenda, including the proposed budget, will be sent two weeks prior to the meeting.

Immediately following the River of Grass Congregational Annual Meeting, the Annual Meeting of the River of Grass Capital Foundation will be held.
