UUA DISASTER RELIEF

​Please donate if you are able:
Given the severity of the disaster caused by Hurricane Helene and the scope of the disaster response required, as well as the fact that the UUA states they are currently critically short of funds in their Disaster Relief Fund, the Board of Trustees approved a special collection to take place during worship service on Sunday, Oct 6th to benefit the UUA Disaster Relief Fund.

​ You may also donate to the UUA Disaster Relief Fund through the River of Grass UU website. Regardless of how you donate, 100% of the donation will go to the UUA Disaster Relief Fund. Please give as generously as you can.

How to make pledge payments

We have set up several methods for you to make your pledges/contributions to River of Grass. The information below details the various methods and ways to connect to them.

Payment options

Thank you very much for your commitment to the River of Grass UU Congregation!
To reduce the possibility of theft or fraud, we recommend you make your pledge payments through one of the following online methods:
  1. Zelle (payments can be made directly from your bank or, if your bank doesn’t support Zelle, the Zelle app can be obtained at https://www.zellepay.com/go/zelle). 
    The recipient address is office@riverofgrassuu.org. Make sure to indicate that the payment is for your 2024-2025 pledge.
  2. Vanco (2024-2025 pledge payments can be made at https://secure.myvanco.com/L-Z5VP/campaign/C-14NBP)  
    These payments, including recurring payments, are automatically designated for your 2024-2025 pledge.
  3. PayPal (payments can be made at https://paypal.me/riverofgrassuu)
    Make sure to indicate that the payment is for your 2024-2025 pledge.
  4. Venmo (payments can be made at https://venmo.com/roguu)  
    Make sure to indicate that the payment is for your 2024-2025 pledge.
  • In addition to the above, we can receive pledge payments by check, including checks mailed from 3rd parties, such as for Qualified Charitable Distributions from an IRA.
    Checks can be mailed to:

    or they can be dropped in the Collection Plate on Sunday morning.
    ​Make sure your name is clearly shown on the check and, again, indicate that the payment is for your 2024-2025 pledge.
  • And, if you wish, you still can place cash in a sealed envelope – clearly identified with your name and marked ‘Pledge 2024-2025’ – and drop it in the Collection Plate on Sunday morning.
